So I just learned that there was a festival in Koso, Oyo on Feb 3rd. Apparently this was traditionally an ancient celebration for the people of Oyo to change their roofs made out of straw during dry season. That during this festival the roof of the palace was to be changed. I don't know much about the Mogbà Kòso apart from some research I found on the Àsà Òrìsà Aláàfin Òyó Èsìn Òrìsà Ìbílè facebook page. Which talked about shango being appeased with ewédù (yoruba jute leaf). There is also some good footage on that page. If anyone here knows more about the festival please let me know.
