Offerings to the Òrìṣá

I would like us to discuss offerings. Can be from personal experience or from a historical reference. This may or may not include:

  • Locations or climates to set a shrine to pay homage
  • Food a particular Òrìṣá likes
  • Color of cloth

For example it is said to appease Eṣú that one can setup a shrine at a crossroads. Eṣú is often described as the mediator between good and bad, positive and negative. Eṣú is where two perpendicular roads meet. Palm oil can be offered.
